Fluffy Eyes started the way most pet sites should: with a lot of Google searches, some trial and error, and a genuine soft spot for animals that never quite goes away.
We’re a small, independent pet care site built by pet owners, for pet owners. Our goal is simple — cut through the noise of vague “top 10” lists and give you honest, practical guidance you can actually use, whether you’re picking out cat litter for a multi-cat household, trying to figure out why your dog won’t stop pacing by the door, or just want to know what a pet sitter should reasonably cost.
What We Do Here
Every guide on this site is written to answer a real question a real pet owner would ask — not to pad out a word count. When we recommend a product, we look at what it’s actually built for, who it’s a good fit for, and where it falls short, not just what sounds good in a headline. When we write about behavior or training, we lean on established, humane, positive-reinforcement approaches rather than quick fixes that don’t hold up.
We’re not veterinarians, and nothing on this site is a substitute for professional veterinary care. When something calls for a vet’s judgment — a health symptom, a medication question, anything urgent — we say so clearly and point you toward professional care instead of guessing.
A Few Things We Believe
- Good pet care advice should be specific, not generic. “It depends on your pet” is often true, but it’s not helpful on its own — so we try to explain what it depends on.
- Recommending a product because it genuinely solves a problem matters more than recommending whatever pays the highest commission.
- Cats and dogs (and the humans who love them) deserve resources that don’t talk down to them.
